Edward on his travels

India!
Hi it’s me Edward and as u all know I’m in India!
Jantar Mantar
So I will know tell u what I have done since we, yet again, left Delhi..... (I use the same boring speech every time don’t I?!J) First of all (after a brilliant time at the Imperial eating pancakes with a magical unicorn called Elizabeth just kidding ho ho ho sorry I forgot I’m not Santa) we set off to Jaipur and stayed in a lovely hotel, called the Samode Haveli. At lunch time (we had to get up at 4AM to catch a flight!) we watched a very nice puppet show and then we went to a gemstone place where they cut and sold gemstones (I bought a very pretty and expensive blue topaz). Next we went to the Jantar Mantar and looked at the many sundials. (We also saw the biggest one ever which was absolutely HUGE!*) we then returned to the hotel.
The next day we started at 9:30 and went to the amber fort and saw some elephants. At the fort we saw a garden that used to grow saffron and a room full of tiny glass mirrors with silver behind them.
These guys actually charged us to take this pic, Jaipur
Next we had a ride on some elephants which was amazing. (They are so strong!J) After that we watched some other tourists playing elephant polo! (The elephants were trained to follow the ball!)ELEPHANTS ARE SOOOOO CLEVER! Next we went to a place called monkey valley and as the name says there were THOUSANDS of monkeys! (Including a couple of killer monkeys which decided they didn’t like Harry and threw a boulder the size of his head at him! (It missed by centimetres!LJ. It was going so fast it made sparks when it hit the ground!) Luckily, almost all the monkeys were so tame that u could feed them bananas by hand! J We then went back to the hotel and rested. The next morning we set off on a long drive (5 hours!L) to a hotel called the Chhatra Sagar (it was also a dam and we slept in tents!). In the evening we went up a small hill to watch the amazing sunset!
Sunset at Chhatra Sagar

The next day we met the 5 dogs Pollocks and Castor (named after the Gemini twin stars), Sarco, Pixie (weird name for a boy doggy isn’t it!?) and onewithblackspotswho’snameIhaveforgotten. (The most playful ones were Pollocks and Castor)

We then headed out to a village where we saw a potter (he had 5 sons and none wanted to be a potter! Poor guy!), a barber – who was about 80 years old -  a giant 10 foot deep hole (it took 4 days to dig!) and lots of little children! We then went back, had lunch, did some work and went on a giant walk dedicated to watching birds and found some antelope bones (Kitty fell in love with its skull!). The next day (today) we went on a loooooooonnnnnngggg boring drive, arrived in Narlai and started doing the BLOG! (That’s what I’m doing know!) Alright that’s absolutely EVERYTHING! So I guess I will just say GOOD BYE! JJJJJJJJ
*It also had a whole lot of other stuff including smaller (but still massive) sundials. Also they weren’t really sundials they were really not circular at all but they still told the time!? J
